DEVA : The Dorset Eco-Village
Alan Heeks, who initiated this project, is also leading work to create an eco-village and larger co-housing community in Dorset. The target timing is to submit an outline planning application by the Spring 2006. You can find out more at www.ruralrenewal.co.uk. How to find us
By road from the north and east via A303
Leave the A303 at Mere and take the B3095 south to Gillingham. Go through Gillingham, following the signs for Shaftesbury - A3081. First right turn past the big roundabout (with Sydenhams builders' merchant) is Cole Street Lane. The Farm is on the right hand side after about a quarter of a mile - look out for the white sign.

From the north and west.
Take the B3081 to Gillingham, then as above.

From the south and east via A30/Shaftesbury.

Take the B3081 from Shaftesbury to Gillingham.
Cole Street Lane is the first turning on the left after the 40 mph speed limit and Gillingham town sign. Cole Street Farm is a quarter of a mile on the right

From the south and west
From the A30 take the B3092 to Gillingham. On the south edge of the town centre, turn right onto the B3081 towards Shaftesbury. Then as 1st paragraph.
